Hello! Welcome to my blog.

Welcome to my blog. Please realise that weblogs are organised in a reversed chronological order.
If you want to learn here, please
Choose a topic.
Go to ’Sound and Text’. Some of the texts do not have a sound-file. Then do the exercises on the basis of Reading Comprehension.
Click on ’LISTEN’ and listen to it a few times until you have a general idea of what it is all about.
Do not read the Text at this stage.
Listen again and now please read the Text at the same time. You will have a deeper understanding than before.
Please go to the next stage ’Text and HotSpots’.
HotSpots are lexical items [words or expressions] that I’m going to explain in context. You can see them in red.
It is very important to understand what they mean HERE, built into this Text.
Please read the Text and stop at HotSpots. Try to find out what they mean in context.
It is important because the meaning of a word or expression can be totally different in another context.
Please do not write at this stage.
If you are ready, please go to ’HotSpots and Intermediate VocabBox’. Go through the items and try to understand the explanations.
If you find Hyperlinks, please click on them to find a deeper or higher explanation, or else a Visual Aid.
If you are ready, and you want to go still deeper, please move on to ’HotSpots and Advanced VocabBox’.
Click on the Hyperlinks for a professional explanation. These explanations are generally beyond the interest of most students.
If you are ready, you can move on to Cloze Tests, and finally to the ’Crossword Puzzle’. Please write an email to get one.
When it arrives, please do it and try to remember the explanations in the ’HotSpots and Intermediate VocabBox’.
When you are ready, you can double-check it with the ’Solution to the Crossword Puzzle’.
Learn a lot and enjoy yourself!
